The EB2 family of 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engines, first introduced by Peugeot (PSA) in 2012, is the foundational unit for early PureTech 82 models. While this original version is still active, it is undergoing a generational shift. The engine is being progressively phased out and replaced by its successor, the EB2F.
