Description
The fourth-generation Focus was introduced in 2018 on the C2 platform, which it shares with the Kuga and Escape, and it was built mainly in Saarlouis, Germany. Engines in Europe include the 1.0 EcoBoost (100 and 125 PS, also with mild hybrid), the 1.5 EcoBoost (150 and 182 PS) and the 1.5 and 2.0 EcoBlue diesels, with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic. The Focus ST has a 2.3 EcoBoost with 280 PS. It is longer and has a larger boot than the third-generation car, a better interior and more driver assist features. A Focus Active crossover version and an estate (Turnier) were also built. Production at Saarlouis ended in 2025.
