The Opel 1.4 Turbo is a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engine produced since 2010, used widely across Opel/Vauxhall's compact and mid-size lineup, including the Astra, Zafira, Meriva, and Mokka. It was developed as part of Opel's broader move toward small-displacement turbocharging, aimed at replacing larger naturally aspirated engines with a smaller, boosted unit offering both stronger performance and better fuel economy across the brand's family car range.
